New Design…I’m in love!!

Well I finally decided that it was about time to get a professional redesign. So after much thought and research I asked Megan at A Bird In Hand Designs to design a kick ass look for my blog.

She was so awesome to work with and was even able to get to my redesign early . So now my new blog design is ready as I prepare to go to the TPT conference in Vegas.
Now I will work hard on rebranding all of my products in my TPT store so that everything coordinates together.
I have now joined Instagram and will work on adding more pictures to my account. If you have pictures of my products in your classroom please feel free to share them with me.
Thinking of September

Thinking of September

Well my quest to return to the classroom has reached it’s conclusion.  I have just accepted a new position as a grade 3/4 teacher in Dundas Ontario.  I am excited to see what this new adventure will bring and how to integrate my experiences working with ELLs and apply it directly to the classroom.

In response to my exciting news I am having a sale on my TPT store.  Everything 20% off!!!

There are so may great teacher blogs out there.  Over the last few months I have been stalking enjoying the wonderful teacher blogs all over the Internet.  I am surprised at how many of us teachers are using this format to communicate our ideas and resources with others.

I was so honoured the week when I received my first blog award from Embellish at http://tangledwithteaching.blogspot.ca/ .  This award is a great way to honour and connect to other bloggers.

Here are the award Rules:
1) Follow the person that gave you the award
2) Link back to the person that gave you the award.
3) Pass the award on to 15 new bloggers

Please checkout these 15 bloggers that I am passing this award to…

Assessment Glogster

I created this Assessment Glog as part of an assignment for Reading Part 2.  The purpose was to design something for new teachers that explains assessment.  Glogster is such a great resource to use for this type of assignment.  I was able to link up resources, make them colourful and fun, and use a variety of other tools as well.  I included Prezi, slideshare, powerpoint, wordle, and screenr.  There are some limitations such as not being able to embed videos or other content unless they are on YouTube.

Enjoy!
